Privacy Notice

LMperformance ("we", "us") is the data controller for personal data processed in connection with our coaching service. This notice explains what we collect, why, and your rights.

Data we collect

• Account details — name, email, password (hashed), authentication tokens.
• Coaching data you submit — goals, training history, body metrics, photos, check-in notes.
• Communications — messages between you and your coach.
• Usage & device data — IP address, browser, pages visited, for security and product improvement.
• Payment data — handled by Stripe; we receive only order metadata, not full card details.

Why we use it

• To deliver coaching personalised to you (contract performance).
• To operate, secure and improve the service (legitimate interests).
• To process payments and meet tax/accounting obligations (legal obligation).
• To send transactional and service-related emails.
• With your consent only: marketing emails.

Who we share it with

• Stripe — for payment processing, subscription management and invoicing.
• Cloud infrastructure & email providers we use to run the service.
• Professional advisers (legal, accounting) where necessary.
• Authorities, where required by law.

International transfers

Some processors are based outside the UK/EEA. Where we transfer personal data outside the UK/EEA, we rely on adequacy decisions or Standard Contractual Clauses to protect it.

Retention

We keep your data for as long as your account is active, plus a reasonable period afterwards for accounting, dispute resolution and legal compliance. You can request deletion at any time.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you have rights to access, rectify, erase, restrict and port your personal data, to object to processing, to withdraw consent, and to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office. We aim to respond to requests within one month.

Security

We apply appropriate technical and organisational measures — including encryption in transit, access controls and audited cloud infrastructure — to protect your data.

Cookies

We use a minimal set of essential cookies needed to keep you signed in. We do not use third-party advertising trackers.
